I’m taking today off, but I spent the previous five days turning a bit over a thousand dollars worth of cherry veneer plywood into custom kitchen cabinets. Well, cabinet boxes anyways. I still have to make the face frames, the drawer boxes, the doors, and mount many many hinges and drawer slides (soft close, of course) .... and there’s no way in hell I’m going to finish all that before I leave for Road America on Friday morning.
I don’t wish to reveal what the cabinets look like until they’re done, so here is the nearly 4-sqft of saw dust that resulted.

No joke, most of the wood working skills I have, I learned watching The New Yankee workshop. I genuinely miss that show.
